Opportunities to join our group
Undergraduate Students
Undergraduate students interested in gaining research experience with us should get in touch. Please email me a brief description of your research interests, why you want to join our lab, and your CV. There are multiple ways students can become involved with our research, but commonly start as volunteers. After demonstrating deep interest and good work ethic, motivated students are often invited to register for research/internship credit, honors thesis or a paid position (e.g., PACE).
Graduate Students
I’m always interested in hearing from prospective PhD and MS students. The ideal candidate has previous research experience, demonstrated writing ability and deep interest in ecology, evolution and or conservation biology. If you think you are interested in joining our research lab, please see a list of available positions below or send me an email detailing you research interests, why you want to join our lab, and your CV. I’m also interested in discussing project ideas for NSF GRFP and happy to assist prospective students with application preparation. More information about the OU graduate program can be found on the departmental website.

Postdocs
I do not currently have funding for postdocs, but am always happy to host postdocs with independent funding and to assist with the development of proposals for postdoctoral fellowships. Examples of some independent fellowships include NSF PRFB, Smith Conservation Research Fellowship, L’Oreal Women in Science Fellowship, and NOAA C&GC.
